I went to Tokyo to apply for Working Holiday Visa of Poland on January 10th in 2025.
Happy to share with you What I prepared and did for it.
Things what I prepared for
Caution!!
This is thing for Japanese who apply for Working Holiday Visa.
There may be different the way depends on where you are from.
Please Check the website of Poland Embassy written about your country yourself and check what you need.
First of all, I checked website of Poland Embassy for Japanese people
I prepared below things.
- Application form
- A ID Phot (passport Size)
- Passport
- A copy of ID Phot in Passport
- Airplane ticket
- Declaration for purchase a return airplane ticket
- Copy of booking confirmation of Hotel for 1 week
- Insurance certification
- Proof of stay funds
- Motivational essay in English
- Plan In English
Then I booked for visiting Poland Embassy in Tokyo
It’s time to go to Tokyo
I have a reservation for Poland Embassy at 10:30 AM and I arrived at nearest station at 9:00 not to be late. Having there been a lots time, I dropped in cafe and had breakfast.
I was a bit nervous because I thought I had interview at the embassy. I had practice of interview myself at the cafe. (I remembered some Polska words like at this time just in case)
Look! This is Poland Embassy
It’s time to go inside. I was excited to go in because I thought I could feel Europe, Poland.
When I went inside, there was a business man before me and waited for few minutes.
Person in charge who is Japanese man welcome me warmly when my turn.
Actually, I was inside there for under 10 minutes. I just submitted the things I prepared.
Every time I submitted each things, he checked and looked over the documents at the spot and informed me when I need to correct kindly.
Everything was done what I can do.
Fingers crossed for myself to get working holiday visa.
I really want to go to Poland!!

This is the Japanese food. (really cool, little bit expensive for me though)
I was relieved to be applied visa done however, Tokyo is massive and I did not know what to do.
I expect to day 2 in Tokyo to be cool….
