【-입니다. -입니까?】 【-이/가 아닙니다. 】

This is what I learned this week.

There may be mistakes especially example sentences I made.
If you find the mistakes, I am happy to correct them.
특히 제가 만든 예문에 실수가 있을 수 있습니다.
실수를 발견하신다면 기꺼이 수정해 드리겠습니다.

My Korean reading this week

My reading from “多読多聴の韓国語 やさしい韓国語で読む世界の名作文学
“The Adventures of Tom Sawyer” – “톰 소여의 모험

-입니다.

Put 입니다 before noun at the end of a sentence.

저는 일본 사람입니다.
I am Japanese.

나는 학생입니나.
I am a student.

입니까?

Question form.

Put 입니까? instead of 입니다 at the end of a sentence to make a question sentence.

너는 일본 사람입니까?
Are you Japanese?

너는 학생입니까?
Are you a student?

Vocabulary

korean

English

I (formal)

일본

Japan

사람

human, person

I (more casual than “저”)

학생

student

you

My thought

I feel Korean is similar to Japanese.

Sentences of English are made based on S(subject) + V(verb) + O(object)
I eat a banana.

Sentences of Korean and Japanese are made based on S(subject) + O(object) + V(verb)
저는 바나나를 먹습니다.
I a banana eat

Like that?

So,Japanese people think it easy to learn Korean and I am one of them.

This must be one of the reasons that Korean language is popular with Japanese people.

By the way, the other day Black Pink announced to resume a world tour after a long period.

Who do you like in Black Pink?

I like …. Ops. Sleepy. I have to go to bed.
